Saw this gorgeous collection of photos & the recipie for Mai Tai's over at coco & kelly a few weeks ago & i thought id re-post it to get me (& you !) all in the spirit! Bring on the cocktails!!!

The Mai Tai
2 tablespoons light rum
2 tablespoons orange curacao
1/4 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 dash simple syrup
1 tablespoon dark rum
mint, a pineapple slice, and a paper umbrella for garnish
Fill a glass with ice. Pour in light rum, orange curacao, orange juice, lime juice, orgeat, and simple syrup.
Then drizzle dark rum right on top. Garnish with mint, pineapple slice, and a paper umbrella for panache!
My other half mentioned the other day that i was a little bit fixated on the cocktails apsect of the trip..yeah?! so!?

ReplyDeleteHave a great time! I am so jealous. Cocktails are just a given when you are holidaying on an island or anywhere warm and sunny, near a beach, or on a cruise or just when you need a holiday! xx
ReplyDeleteSal, any chance you want to swap your tix for a 8 day stay in Perth looking after a 2.5 year old and a dog, a great day tour of the garden once you have planted it is also on the cards...it will be so relaxing.........No, really.
