Fashion Essentials - The Cream Coat

Its slightly cooler in Sydney today which has made me start thinking about my Autumn / Winter wardrobe.
Trawling through my Pinterest {Serious Style} board i saw a trend.
Amazing cream/camel/tan {whatever you like to call it} coats!
Throw it over black & white or denim =  winter wardrobe sophistication!
…..oh and add some platinum blonde hair. Get me to the hairdresser!

Neutral Fashion

I used to have a closet full of colour & prints.
I have found lately my wardrobe is a lot more 'Neutral'.
Which means that things go with a lot more - and looking through these images i think i will stick to my new found love of neutral colours.

Birkenstocks are back!

The last time i wore Birkenstocks was 11 years ago when i backpacked around Thailand as a 21 year old…
Seems they are making a MAJOR comeback.
When we were in Europe everyone was wearing them.
I was skeptical, but hey, we all know they are super comfy & these ladies make them look damn stylish.
So what do we think - yay or nay to the comeback of the Birkenstock??

Leopard.

I have quite a bit of leopard in my wardrobe at the moment.
{including the raddest leopard print jumpsuit i bought at Zara in Italy!}
In fact most days i have to make sure I'm not sporting 'double leopard' haha
Gone are the days when leopard print was horrible & tacky - Do you love leopard too?

Nike Roshe Runs

As our big trip draws closer (8 days till we leave eeeekkkk) i am thinking carefully about what to pack.
When we arrive in Italy it will be close to zero & will probably snow in some of the mountain areas we will be in…..but, by the time we get into France its going to be warm…and then by the end of the trip 10 weeks later it will be full blown summer!

You see the dilemma here! I want to pack light, but need to pack for all seasons!
So I'm trying to put together some serious multitasking outfits to lighten the luggage.
Have you bought anything lately that you find you wear ALL THE TIME?

I decided to invest in a pair of these Nike Roshe Runs in black.
There will be a lot of walking. Last time we walked pretty much all day, every day.
(good for working off the calories…not so good for the feet. hello blisters)
I saw so many images of these teamed with casual clothes that i thought i could kill two birds with one stone!
I can run in them AND wear them for long days of walking in comfort without looking like Seinfeld (you know what i mean right?)
