Byron Holiday!

I am so excited, Ben & i have booked to spend the week in Byron Bay for the first week of February. We have wanted to go for years!
Last time i was there i celebrated my 20th birthday with some friends & this time we will be there for my 31st....wow...
Anyway, as I'm sure things have changed a lot in 11 years, id love everyone suggestions on great shops, restaurants, cafes, things to do (besides laze on the beach!)...anything really! The only thing is that we won't have a car as we deiced to fly up & avoid the 2 ten hour drives so we had more time there - but always happy to ride a bike anywhere thats not TOO far away! :)

  1. I just got back from a week in Byron, back to work now but nevermind :)

You must check out Bangalow (even if car-less, catch a cab, its max 10 mins) it is such a pretty and chic little town with some nice cafes and lovely shops. It's also such a pretty drive up there through the hills. Brauerbirds is a great interiors shop there. Fish Heads in Bangalow (much quicker than its Byron counterpart) is fantastic for some healthy style fish and chips, the grilled salmon with salad is wonderful for takeaway and it is a casual but lovely spot to dine at.

In Byron itself Targa is a great breakfast option, although service was very slow over the New Year period. Hope & May is a nice interios shop very close to Targa.

St Elmo is a great cocktail/ tapas spot.

Be sure to walk up to the light-house & Wategos beach is my favourite spot for a swim.

    ENJOY!
