Ok, so i know this is a bit of a nerdy one (& excuse the bad i phone photos!), but I'm one of those uber organised types.

I bought this 2 years ago & have to say its been one of the best ways to organise all my receipts & expenses!

Its divided into months

And each month has an envelope for you to store your receipts & a space to write the details for each receipt on the front. 

I tend to put them in once a month or so, it makes it so much easier to reconcile at the end of the year.

AND you don't end up with mountains of receipts all over the place each July!

Envelope Love

Im a sucker for packaging - and that includes mail! Plus i always get excited when i receive something hand addressed in the mail, dont you? On the weekend i addressed our wedding invites! I was inspired by some of these images. I did look into having them done in calligraphy by a pro - but it was approx $5 per envelope!!! Yikes. People tell me i have nice handwriting (even though im not so sure) so i thought id do them myself. I think/hope i got a similar look, that ended up just costing me a few hours of my time! Plus was nice to do them myself.  I have to say americans are spoilt for choice when it comes to beautiful stamps - we aussies have nothing like the gorgeous designs you guys have in the states!

Our Engagement Party Invitations!

Now that I've sent these out & this post wont ruin the surprise i can share them! Designed by Dizzy Wizzy Design and i have to say Nat is amazing and i was totally thrilled with the result! For the engagement party we wanted something that was a bit of fun & reflected 'us'.

Being a 'designer type' and a bit very anal, i usually have a few lots of tweaks i request with this sort of thing.....nope, not with this!

We started with this.........

Then Nat said she'd change it up a bit for me...and she came back with this.........

Wow there are so many inspiring images, designers & websites you can turn to for engagement & wedding invitations these days!

I will be using Aussie designer Dizzy Wizzy (based in Perth, but super easy to do it all over email from here in Sydney!) Here are 2 other great options! One based in the USA & the other an Australian based letter press option! First up, I recently discovered Minted which you could seriously spend HOURS playing around on- they have some of the most beautiful & cool inviations ive seen! Minted sell designs from different designers world wide & you can fully customise most invites on the site & get instant preveiws of what they look like! I do like to support Local talent though! Letter press has been gaining a huge following in the past few years & has such a beautiful look & texture to it. It is more epxenisve, but it can be quite simple & get a stunning result (sometimes less is more!). Bespoke Press are my favourite Austrailan letterpress suppliers, based in Brisbane.
