Wardrobe organisation

Every few months i tend to go through my wardrobe & take some stuff to the carity bins & put some stuff aside to take to the markets.
I thought this was quite a good guide to the classics for your wardrobe!
Although some things aren't very 'me' - don't think you'll find me in a pearl necklace or polo shirt any time soon!

KikiK 'My Receipts' folder!

Ok, so i know this is a bit of a nerdy one (& excuse the bad i phone photos!), but I'm one of those uber organised types.
I bought this 2 years ago & have to say its been one of the best ways to organise all my receipts & expenses!

Its divided into months

And each month has an envelope for you to store your receipts & a space to write the details for each receipt on the front.
I tend to put them in once a month or so, it makes it so much easier to reconcile at the end of the year.
AND you don't end up with mountains of receipts all over the place each July!

New Years Wardrobe Edit!

Ok, so at the risk of sounding totally OCD (which i admit i am...just a little bit!) i find cleaning out my wardrobe quite satisfying! It also doesnt help that we live in a tiny one bedroom apartment with a tiny wardrobe (that i share with the man!). It actually makes you feel really good! Not only do you free up space, but you find things you may have forgotten about, see things in a new light, and get rid of stuff to either good cause (Vinnies or the charity bins) OR make some extra cash by selling things on ebay or holding a market stall! I do Kirribilli markets maybe once or twice a year with a girlfriend & not only is it a fun day out, but we usually come home with a few hundred bucks, all from stuff we'd never wear again! When i saw this on Mimi & Meg i thought it was a great place to start or inspire you to clean out your wardrobe! Its a bit small to read well here so click on it & see the larger version & off you go!
