I'm working on a project at the moment it would be perfect for……

I first discovered it in this bathroom makeover on Cupcakes & Cashmere.

My Favourite 'Block' Bathroom

Is everyone watching the new season of the Block?

Every year i am more & more impressed with the bathroom design.

{well most of them anyway, theres always one shocker!}

Although i think if they revealed the cost of the build for the bathrooms people would be surprised.

The fittings & fixtures they use tend to be fairly high end & certainly not suited to a budget bathroom renovation!

Daz & Dee's bathroom from last season is one of my all time favourites!
Its classic, simple yet striking & uses beautiful, quality materials & fixtures in a way thats not over the top.
Understated glamour at its best!

Cross Street Project - C + M Studio

Sometimes ill see a project by another designer & totally swoon

{and have minor major design envy!}

This project is one of those - The Cross Street Project in Sydneys Bronte, by C + M Studio.

Black Tapware

Black tapware is big at the moment!

It gives a dramatic pop of contrast in a white space.

Will it last the test of time though & not be 'out of date' in a few years i wonder?

Timber in Modern Bathrooms

Im hearing more & more that clients want to incorporate timber in their bathroom.

Heres a few great examples of timber 'done well' {in my opinion!} in a bathroom.

Heidi Middletons Bedroom/Ensuite

I recently came across these images of Sass & Bides Heidi Middletons home. 

She lives on Sydneys Northern Beaches - isnt the the outlook to die for!

What do you think of her open plan bedroom/bathroom?

I know i could definitely see myself in that bath and its interesting how the bathroom doesn't look like a 'bathroom'..

More like subtle furniture pieces that work in with the bedroom !
