We've been back from our trip to Byron for over a month now - seems like an eternity ago!
I discovered that Byron is not just about the beach - there is some fabulous shopping there too!
Here are a few of my favouite places to have a browse {& make a purchase!}
HOPE & MAY {20 Fletcher Street, Byron Bay}
This was most definitely my favourite shop in Byron, a haven of all neutral sophisticated, laid back bohemian glamour!
I went home with a few of the little skulls, one of the divine crosses to add to my wall and a couple of byron bay style jangly bracelets!
AHOY TRADER {Marvell Street, Byron Bay}
Cutest little shop with the most amazing hand painted ceramic tiles & crosses.
Run by local artist Jai who is responsible for the awesome tiled wall at Miss Margarita.
It also has a wealth of gorgeously packaged soaps, cushions & jewellery.
Don't miss it!
BYRON BAY MARKETS {1st Sunday of the month}
Go to people watch & pick up some local produce or craft.
If your into dream catchers, beads or raw organic produce this is the pace to be!
Also some great muso's busking, grab a juice or coffee & chill out under a tree!
And up in Bangalow {we hired a car for the day} you must check out....
THE BANGALOW PHARMACY {23 Byron Street, Bangalow}
Hello they sell Missoni & Savon de Marseille Soaps
(i dragged my poor husband all over Avignon in France looking for these!)
ISLAND LUXE TRIBE {62 Byron Street, Bangalow + 11 Marvel Street, Byron Bay}
If nothing else, go just to admire the beautiful store itself {got a spare $600 for the shorts below?}
RED GINGER {38 Station street Bangalow & 111 Jonson Street Byron Bay}
Asian cooking & goodies galore. Plus a little cabinet full of dumplings if you'd like a little yum cha!
Well, there you have it - Byron isn't just about the beach!
Its beach + great eats + great shopping!
Beware if your flying there with Jetstar cabin baggage only, your shopping haul might be limited :)
Nice place for shopping...!!
