Citrus in Pots

Sorry for not showing you my Beni Ourain rugs as promised last week
Would you believe after i posted that i was contacted by a few people who were interested & have sold them already!
If i get any more in (or decide i don't actually need two for myself) ill be sure to let you know.

Maybe its the recent European trip thats done it to me, but I'm suddenly inspired to grow a bit of a Mediterranean garden on our balcony.
I'm thinking big pots of rosemary & dwarf citrus trees!
I grew up with an amazing lemon tree in our backyard, but have never grown citrus in pots - have any of you tried it? Any tips?

Balcony Inspo.

Ive decided to leave doing anything with our new balcony till we get back from our trip.
Im sure the plants wouldn't appreciate being abandoned for 3 months!
I love the look of simple big (white?) planters with sculptural looking plants
(frangipanis, palms, fiddle leaf figs etc)
And also want to do some big pots of herbs.

Vegetable Patch

I love gardening.
There is something so satisfying seeing something you have planted grow. A few weeks ago i went to an event hosted by Jamie Durie & we were all given a packet of coriander seeds to take home. Last weekend i planted them in pot we had free & what do you know, yesterday it was full of green spouts! My excitement was somewhat childlike i suspect ;)
I also have a pack of seeds for baby tomatoes so they'll be finding a spot this weekend! We grow rosemary, mint, oregano, chives & have a bay tree - one day i would love to have a big vegggie garden where we can grow as much of our food as possible!
