The Block - Powder rooms

I deal with quite a few tricky bathroom spaces in my work - so i was quite impressed with what the contestants on The Block managed to do with the very small under stair space last week! I think its a perfect spot for a powder room! I also liked how Dale / Sophie & Dan / Danni left the wall of exposed brick (although they could have done with a small spot of colour!). Exposed Brick

If anyone was watching The Block the other night when they did the (rather rubbish) room reveals, you might have heard the judges saying they loved the exposed brick in one room but it needed something on it to set it off. Im a big fan of exposed brick myself & agree with the judges - what makes it look amazing is contrasting it against a 'not so rough' finish like a smooth white wall next to it, a painting or print, a mirror or even hanging a delicate chandelier in front of it!
