Beni Ourain Rugs - Inspiration

If you follow me on instagram you will have seen that while we were in Morocco i fell even more in love with Beni Ourain rugs
…and subsequently purchased one two…four of them…whoops!

Two we are keeping - one is in my office {I'm loving it - sooo soft}
 The other has found a home in our dining room {and if anyone spills anything on it they're dead! Joking….kind of…}

The other two i am selling!

Camilla for Designer Rugs

On Tuesday night i attended the launch of the Camilla for Designer Rugs collection.

It was an amazingly styled event...

 A riot of colour, flowers hanging from the ceiling, french bubbly, summery cocktails & Moroccan food.

And lets be honest - i left there wanting a new Kaftan {and rug of course!}

My latest 'go to' item - Round Sisal Rugs

An item thats been popping up in my work recently is a round sisal rug!

Gorgeous & warm in colour, with great texture. A round rug will also soften all the square lines in a room. 

Im loving the Armadillo & co 'Dandelion' rug at the moment!

Another one that I've been using, that is a bit more budget friendly, is the Freedom Madras rug

I had spied the pink & orange in store & just saw the blue online.

All of which are very well priced! If i were you id get snap one up while you can!

Zebra purchased!!!

I just obtained this beauty on ebay!

With the US dollar the way it is i had the urge to do some shopping & make the most of it....what do you know i found an ebay seller based in Miami who has a huge range of cow hides & printed cow hides for about half the price of anywhere else ive seen them. I picked up this beauty for $230USD including the shipping to Australia! Will just have to wait to see if its nice in the flesh...Should take about a week!

Zebra?

Ok, so i think im going to bite the bullet & FINALLY get the zebra hide ive been wanting for ever (not a real one though!). It seems whenever i see a room & think "awesome!",  it has one in it! (i would like to look at my own living room & think "awesome!") see what i mean.....

So ive found this one on ebay for $280 including shipping from South America! Not bad eh?!

I know im way late in jumping on this bandwagon, but its taken me this long to make my mind up!

Someone please encourage me to buy it ;)

 im also desperate for one of these Bamileke stools to use as a cofffee table...might have to save up for a bit though, arent they gorgeous!

These have been floating around for a while now & i have been consdiering one for my own place resulting in lots of ebay trawling (there are some great buys on ebay by the way)...although there is no floorspace unless i ditch a rug we already have...or if i can come up with a way to get it in somwhere else - some of the stools in these pics look great...food for thought.

Most of them are printed on cowhide, so no need to fret at the idea of having a poor zebra on your floor....they are animal without being too gaudy & look great in lots of different interior styles from beachy neutrals to really opulent rich interiors...here are a few of my fav's........x
