Emmas Place

A few of you have asked to seee a bit more of my freind Emmas Apartment as it had a more 'masculine decorating style' to it....your not wrong! Emma's boyfreind is one of the blokey'est blokes i know & even a pendant light is considered boarderline too 'girly' for him! And Emma is a self confessed neat freak who has never really liked much clutter or a tonne of colour! So here are a few shots of how she has made their rented apartment a home for her & her blokey man friend!

 This shot of her living room was up on made By Girl a few weeks ago showing the custom print she ordered. She had to change the heart in the print to a + though so it was allowed to be dispalyed hehe

She even had a go at colour coding her bookshelf!

Turned out well i think!

2 blogs i really enjoy that are relatively new or dont have a whole lot of followers that i reckon you should check out! First up is  Savvy Home - always full of gorgeous images like these....

And the owner of the blog, Gab's own house which i just love & am so looking forward to seeing more of the transformation!

And for something a bit different , not only my shoes -  that cracks me up on a daily basis. The author of this blog stays fairly anonymous...but ill let you in on the secret that i went to uni with her ;) check them out!

Happy Friday! So im thinking id like to have a pair of seriously awesome shoes on under my wedding dress! The US dollar is awesome....The hunt is on!  These are cheapies...stand by for all the 'not so cheapies' i have also laid my eyes (but not wallet) on!

At the moment im seriously in love with this earthy & organic look of using concrete & moulded basins & baths in the bathroom. With a little bit of creativity & a good builder it would be cheap & easy to do aswell!

Wednesday Wedding Stalker- Hillary Duff & that hockey guy she married ;)

In the spirit of planning a wedding ive deciced to scrap wednesday wisdoms for a while & make wednesdays segment about stalking fab weddings :) Im sure there are no complaints!

Lets have a stalk of Hilary Duff's wedding to ...um....mike someone who plays ice hockey....Her dress is by Vera Wang (of course!) Im quite liking her huge bun hairstyle too! Might be a good way to add some height!

LOVE all the flowers! Looks like a simple cake, just surrounded by beautiful flowers!

Sydney Flower Markets

On Saturday morning i dragged myself out of bed at 5am & headed to the Sydney flower markets at Flemington with my friend emma, i cant recommend it enough! We had great fun & spent next to nothing on a huge amount of flowers! Trust me, one trip here & you'll never buy from a florist again!...unless the 5am start is the deal breaker! You do really need to get there early as by 6am a lot of sellers were already gone! Here are a few pics i snapped on my phone!

i grabbed two if the garden roses at the back!

these were amazing & were only $10 for quite a big bunch!

Tulips were $6 a bunch or $10 for 2!

Boxes of petals for 'sprinkling' or throwing, there were also boxes of full rose heads which were divine!
