Engagment & Wedding Invitations!

Wow there are so many inspiring images, designers & websites you can turn to for engagement & wedding invitations these days!

I will be using Aussie designer Dizzy Wizzy (based in Perth, but super easy to do it all over email from here in Sydney!) Here are 2 other great options! One based in the USA & the other an Australian based letter press option! First up, I recently discovered Minted which you could seriously spend HOURS playing around on- they have some of the most beautiful & cool inviations ive seen! Minted sell designs from different designers world wide & you can fully customise most invites on the site & get instant preveiws of what they look like! I do like to support Local talent though! Letter press has been gaining a huge following in the past few years & has such a beautiful look & texture to it. It is more epxenisve, but it can be quite simple & get a stunning result (sometimes less is more!). Bespoke Press are my favourite Austrailan letterpress suppliers, based in Brisbane. They also have a blog which you can check out their latest projects on AND they sell some great limited edition prints! Here is some of my favourite Bespoke Press work;

I also like to trawl through Oh So Beautiful Paper for inspiration from time to time!

This living room is my idea of perfection i have to say! The exposed bricks & tiles (insulation?!....downfalls of  working in construction..you notice these things!), the sheer curtains, the rafters, THE PINK SOFA! the chandelier!

Happy Monday morning to all - what rubbish weather it is in Sydney today - just took me over an hour & a half to get to work (usually a 40min drive!)! Today im really excited to tell you all that over the next 12 months leading up to our wedding ill be a guest blogger over at Dizzy Wizzy Design, doing posts on all our planning & inspiration for the big day!

Super cool little wedding story!

 I just came across the coolest little wedding story!
One for all you shoe lovers out there!

Jacob bought Laura these amazing Miu Miu shoes as a wedding present but because they got married on the grass they sank in & she couldnt wear them...

So she carried them instead of a bouquet!

Now that is what i call a tribute to a super cool pair of shoes ;) and excellent multitasking by the bride!

and she then put them on after!

The stylish bride wore an amazing dress by Willow.
