an OMG moment!

In a bit of an OMG potentially life changing moment.....

This week i have officially gone to 4 days a week at my full time job to have one day a week to focus on my own business,

Deliciously girly apartment - part 2

Had a great weekend in NSW's southern highlands for one of Australias biggest mountain bike races, the 100km  Highland Fling AND am very excited to report that after breaking his middle gear ring in the first 2km (not good!) Ben managed to come away with a win in the open male catagory! Very exciting! Am a tad tired & sunburnt today but it was all worth it for such an awesome result! Ok - back to the usualy topic of discussion!

I posted about this apartment last week but was interested to see more photos of it over on House of Turquoise & to learn that it is actually part of the re development of the athletes village in Vancouver used for the last winter olympics! Here are a few more shots! The bedroom has really got me thinking....that the blank wall over my own bed might like a juju hat!

Bedroom Chandelier!

You might remember this post where i was musing on what sort of pendant or chandelier to put up in our bedroom..and you all gave me fantastic advice! First i had to assemble the whole darn thing...beware if you buy from Beacon Lighting you'll have a few hours of therapy to do before you get the electrician in ;)

And after 2 years of 'pondering' the finished result!

I know you all thought it would be best without the little shades over the globes, but after having it up for a few days we decided to try it with them on & really liked it - felt like it finished it off!  You might also notice my 'For Like Ever' print is up (which took 'for like ever' to arrive!) which we framed in a white frame & put in the bedroom - looks great! Its looking quite girly in there but the other half doesnt seem to care!
