Penny Round Tiles

The research & inspiration files for the 'french inspired' bathroom continue. We are on the hunt for a neautal coloured tile that will add a textural element to one of our walls & perhaps the floor in the ensuite! In my hunting i have become quite interested in these 'penny round' tiles!

How amaaazing are the metallic ones in the kitchen!!

on the floor...not a bad idea!

oh i like this pale blue colour...

oohh LOVE this bathroom with carrara marble penny rounds!

The decorative mirror is another aspect on the list for our bathroom!

so..penny rounds...what do you think?

anyone seen any great textural/shaped tiles out there lately that dont cost $600m2 (yes we found some for that price!!..sadly not in our budet!)

Love a good entry space!

I seriously LOVE a good entry space!

Here are some shining examples ive been collecting!

Jonothan Adler

Seriously does this guy ever do anything that looks crap?!

(& p.s i have to have that chair!)

Looove this one! A bit ecclectic!

Lonny - so simple - the wall & that mirror = to die for!

More Lonny gold - a great bench seat & an artwork, simple as that!

Nice modern county look

(& you can get the Heath Nash "its beautiful here" wire coat hook at Complete Pad)

A nook is such a great feature to have near your entry....

(love a bit of zebra action too!)

This samantha pynn design entry is prob one of the best nooks around! Id kill for this space....seriously.

Entry table essentials - lamps, books, art or photos.

Chair lift + wedding = awesomeness!

Came across this first image a few months ago & fell in love with it!

love the grooms air punching!

Dont all of these images make you want to get married somewhere with a chair lift! too cool! ....although given my history with dismounting ski lifts i should probably re think this one!

French Inspired bathrooms

Im met with a friend this afternoon who im working with on making over the bathrooms in her new apartment.

She's really inspired by french interiors (& has a great collection of french interior magazines!!) & its a change to have someone who likes more classic styles as opposed to the more modern styles i usually work with. Thought id do a bit of research for some inspiration & share what i found! Gorgeous!

The Blue Screen Of Death.....NOOOOOO

I have traumatising news...

5 mins after i got into the office today this happened..

I beleive this is whats commonly known as the windows 'blue screen of death'...

anything with a name like that cant be good.

also cant be good because not only are years worth of office drawings on that hard drive but so are all my blog folders & drawings, schedules & details for personal jobs i was working on...3/4 of which is not backed up....I am now sitting at the bosses desk (he's gone home) waiting for the call from the IT guy on weather anything from the hard drive is salvagable. stress. someone bring me a wine.

project in the works....

A freind & i have a little project in the works.....

There will be items for sale.....

And my all time fav;

why oh why did i buy a black lounge!

maybe ill have to make some pale blue cushions for it...

or i would LOVE to get my hands on a pale blue rug with a geometric pattern through it...once again something there is likely an abundance of in America & none of in Australia - whats with that?!!!!

Does anyone know of a great pale blue rug?
