Bound for Paris today! Bright and early flight at 8am! We are flying via Seoul & have a night there which should be fun too!

We will be gone for 6 weeks of French & Italian bliss... (& one week of french alps cycling hell!)

Forgive me if i don't post often...or at all for that matter!

Spotlight Christmas 2012 Launch

last Wednesday night i attended the 2012 Spotlight Christmas launch at Sun Studios! I love xmas decorating & really enjoyed some of their DIY suggestions like the knitted letters & fabric wreath (which would be really easy to make!) below - i also loved their rustic look with gorgeous linen table cloths, brown paper & hand stitched ornaments! the xmas range will be in stores in September!

Theres something so swoon worthy about a coffee table with gorgeous looking books & some divine flowers. 

Throw in some crystals & scented candles & you have the coffee table jackpot! 

A weekend project perhaps? Head to the flower markets, gather some of your favourite books & have a play with your coffee table!

Long time readers will know i am a sucker for xmas decorating!

So i am quite excited that im off to the Spotlight Christmas 2012 launch tonight!

Our flight is at 7:30am which means its going to be a very early morning!
This time next week we'll be in the sky bound for seoul (our stopover!)

Loving - Steel Doors

Currently obsessing over black steel doors. They aren't that common in Australian architecture, in my 8 years of work I've only ever put them in once! Not that cheap either {compared to the standard timber or aluminium}.... but i can't wait for the opportunity to use them again!

***UPDATE***
The guy at the mac shop told me that you can't load photos onto blogger on an iPad as blogger is a flash supported program!? Is this true??? if that was the case you'd think it'd mean you also couldnt fire blogs created on blogger (which i have no problem with!)

Today I'm putting the call put for some bloggy help!

Last time i was overseas i tried to post from my i pad but i found i couldn't load images? The 'choose image' button was pale grey meaning it wouldn't let me click on it - same goes for uploading pics to Facebook? Can anyone enlighten me? We will be away for 6 weeks on our honeymoon & ill have my i pad with me - might be nice to share a piccie or two from our trip once in a while!

Diptyque

Im a bit of a sucker for Diptyque  - i think its the divine typography on the labels!

Ive discovered the store id just down the road from our hotel in Paris - their candles & fragrance are definitely a bit of a splurge!

 I think i may have to make one my Parisian souvenir! 

There is just something about a Diptyque candle that makes it surrounds look so gorgeous - don't you think?
