Just got back from our camping trip so after spending a whole lot of time in the great outdoors i thought id share some awesome 'outdoor rooms'!

ok so this isnt a room but its outdoors & you know i love this colour ;)

Im off camping for a week at my all time favorite place!

Its 5hrs north of Sydney 10km out on a dirt road from the surfing town Crescent Head - a little place called Delicate Nobby! (Yes seriously!) I have been going here for 17yrs & love it! You wake up with the sun & live your days based on the tides & the surf, swimming, surfing, fishing....and yes, i dont know how i let this happen but we are taking the bikes too ;) See you in a week! Ill leave you with some gorgeous images that conjure up the vibe of our summer camping trips! 

Surflodge Wedding

You might remember the 'pink' wedding post i did a while back here for my cousin. Well my cousin Lucy is getting married today & im pretty sure its going to be very pink! The groomsmen were given their pale pink ties with white polka dots at the rehearsal yesterday! Love a wedding so really looking forward to frocking up in my (impulse buy) camilla dress & heading off!
I also posted about the surflodge a while back & found this wedding held there! Totally loving the vibe of it! Cant even say what my favorite bit is - love it all, the style, flowers, bike, surfboards...my kinda wedding! Im off to the hairdresser! Ill share some of Lucys wedding photos soon ;)

Sophies (French Inspired) Bathrooms - After!!!

The day has finally arrived!

After months (seriously about 3!) waiting for the venetian mirror to arrive i have finally photographed the bathrooms i was working on a few months ago! The job involved the complete renovation of 2 bathrooms (a main & an ensuite) in a 1970's style apartment - were talking a lot of brown, gold & yellowing cabinetry here! Being a first home owner my client was on a strict budget and im proud to say i think we got a pretty great result! So without further ado, lets have a look!!

My other half is also obsessed  so last year i gave him his first copper saucepan as an anniversary present but he likes it so much he refuses to cook in it - too funny!

New Years Resolutions

Woohoo - its 2011 & i am feeling the vibe that its going to be a good one! Sorry ive been a bit slack on the xmas/new year posting but i have 5 weeks off work & am trying to get away from the computer as much as possible so forgive me if its only 'once every few days chic' for a few weeks ;)

This picture just makes me happy so im sharing it with you to kick off the new year! I have a few resolutions for this year that i thought id share cause once they are out there you can all hold me to them!

....so this year i will;

1. Make sure i get out for some form of outdoor exercise every day even if it means i have to become a morning person! Which i struggle with.... Getting up at 7:30 or 8am is a-ok...gettting up at 5:30 to run before work aint one of my strong points! But if im going to stick to this ill have to do it in the morning before the excuses kick in!

(paddle boarding in Tahiti however would get me out of bed at any time!)

2. Following on from 1 id like to have a crack at a half marathon &/or do a mountain bike race! Right now id struggle to run round the block & re the bike races,  I go to them every weekend with Ben as support crew and i reeeally want to try one myself! Problem is that im a bit of a wuss...mountain biking isnt for the feint hearted (or for people like me that struggle to get used to their feet being clipped onto the bike...read falling on my face...alot!)

Spent alot of time as 'support' crew last year, maybe this year he can do it for me! hehe

3. Focus on my business. This includes getting my website running & continuing on with a steady stream of new jobs & clients & making all of them happy. Whilst making time for point 1 & 2 & not letting my health suffer from working myself into the ground!
