Just went out to buy sushi for lunch & came back with this...ummm...kinda expensive Camilla dress.... in a slightly different style....I NEVER impulse buy - not even a $20 dress!

Lets just say the sales girl in Camilla is good at her job!

Oh well...merry xmas to me!...and morgage & groceries might have to wait for the rest of the month...oh yeah...and all those xmas presents im supposed to be buying OTHER people!

Papaya Mosman

Be still my beating heart! One of my all time favorite home-wares shops, Papaya, has opened about 100m from my office (god help me & my wallet). I snapped a few pictures to share with you - isn't it just divine! I could move right on in! It has loads of bits & pieces that would be beautiful xmas presents, from soaps & candles to heirloom tree decorations, books & maybe even one of these lights if santa thinks you've been extra good this year!

I put one of these pendants over a clients dining table recently & it looked amazing!

Using these fishing baskets sewn together as a cover is such a great idea! Ive seen them as pendant lights but not like this!

Only disappointment is that it gets terrible reviews as a place to stay on trip advisor...lets just say it seems that it looks great & thats about it ;)

Fat Monk

If you live around Sydneys North you must try thai restaurant 'Fat Monk' at Neutral Bay!

Seriously cool interior - chunky timber tables, a wall made out of recycled timber palletes, a huge buddha mural & one giant red chandelier! Oh & the food was pretty good too!

   Not only is she not an interior designer (you wouldnt belive it would you!), but she has just had a baby, the beautiful Allegra, last friday & you will go to heaven when you see the nursery!

Yay for December! Woohoo its Xmas time!

Woohoo its December, my favorite time of the year! Its warm & christmas is coming; lots of time with family eating & drinking in the sun! AND it means we can now put up our decorations!

Call me superstitious but my Nanna has always said that its bad luck to put your tree up before the 1st of December! So now that it is december i can indulge in my favorite time of the year much to my boyfriends amusment...he just doesnt get it! Although he does help me decorate the tree....(and then i go & make sure he has distributed all the decorations evenly when he's not looking hahaha). Ill share some piccies  when they are up, but in the meantime here is some xmas decoration porn!

I love the idea of creating a 'white xmas' here in Australia by using all white decorations on a real tree!
