Today id like to share a blog i head over to occasionally for some mental inspiration!

This blog i discovered a few months ago & i have to say i find it really inspiring - created by Jess, the jewellery designer behind Jess LC its all about 'living a life with intention'. As i said Jess is also the jewelley designer behind Jess LC. Part of her range are these beautiful simple necklaces that help us to remember our 'intentions'. Im going to get myself this 'be present' necklace.

You can get them plain or with a coloured stone.

The reverse side is printed in braille.

 Its something i have discovered i need to remind myself every day - im always thinking ahead, planning, organising - everything from work, to what we are having for dinner or where out next holiday will be or what i need to do the weekend after next... dont get me wrong, being organised is great but it can mean that i sometimes dont fully concenrate on the immediate tasks at hand.

Having a read of this blog last night really got me thinking...what are some of the simple things you need to remind yourself daily that can enhance your life?

Bali House

I found these images of a gorgeous house in Bali a while ago- does anyone know where they are from or who this amazing house belongs to?? Thought they might be a nice way to start the rainy week (in Sydney!)

Kitchen sneak peak - the 'almost' afters!

Now i know some of you are just as excited by a good before & after as i am, which is why today i just HAD to share a few snaps i took this morning of the kitchen ive been working on ALMOST done...ooohhh so close!

The remainder of the doors and the handles are going on today,  the tv is going into the open module in the pantry wall and glass splashbacks & undercabinet lights going in on monday!....stay tuned...

Cheap (pattern) trick!

I just discovered this townhouse by designer Philip Galanes a few week ago. Am absolutely in love with the use of the concrete bessa blocks (painted white) throughout creating such affordable, yet gorgeous pattern & texture. Just shows you dont always need to use expensive materials to get that wow factor.

Zebra purchased!!!

I just obtained this beauty on ebay!

With the US dollar the way it is i had the urge to do some shopping & make the most of it....what do you know i found an ebay seller based in Miami who has a huge range of cow hides & printed cow hides for about half the price of anywhere else ive seen them. I picked up this beauty for $230USD including the shipping to Australia! Will just have to wait to see if its nice in the flesh...Should take about a week!

Lonny Blog

Im quite liking the new & easy to navigate Lonny Blog.

The thing i like the most is the 'decorate' section which has images catalouged under headings like, living, bedroom, kitchen etc that you can easily save to your computer (ever noticed how hard it is to save off the actual Lonny mag??? or is this just me??)  Here are a couple of my favorites that we havent already seen a zillion times!

Rocking desk spaces

Im a little bit obsessed with home offices..maybe because we only have one bedroom & therefore no room for one! Here are the latest in my collection of rocking office spaces! And boy are these some good ones! Have a great weekend everyone x
